During the open house, there will be hourly guided tours of the gardens and landscape displays, healthy harvest snacks, prizes and more.
The open house will also feature the Photovoice art exhibit. The artwork, created by community members, teachers and students, highlight the importance of the Puyallup River Watershed through striking photographs and stories.
The EnviroHouse, located at 3510 S. Mullen St., is a permanent model home showcasing green building and natural landscape ideas, materials and techniques for inside and outside the home. The house offers more than 40 free workshops and is open for visitors Wednesday through Sunday throughout the year.
